Sometimes Trucks Need To Come Into Our Workshop
When our young engineer Connor headed over to the Holywell area last week to complete a Service & Thorough Examination on a Clark truck he realised quite quickly the job was quite expansive.
The truck had up and over hydraulic lift hoses that were worn through. The hydraulic pump was working really hard with minimal output and we had to use throttle to get the forks moving, this required further examination. There was also no reverse alarm and the nearside light cluster was hanging off. Connor soon realised this wouldn’t be a quick job and the truck would need to come into our workshop for repair work.
We arranged a convenient time for the customer for us to collect the truck the next week. As always we offered a replacement truck for the time the repairs would take but this wasn’t needed.
This week we picked the truck up and after just 2 hours our engineer Frankie had worked his repairing magic. The truck was now functioning and could return to work although needed some TLC so we will be out for a check up very soon.
If you’d like a truck servicing to full performance Hannaman Material Handling is all about the Service.
