Keeping A Close Eye On Your Trucks
Sometimes a truck can show signs of wear and tear through constant use but still remain functioning at the busiest of times for businesses.
Our experienced engineer Ian travelled to Wrexham to complete a service and TE on a Boss WR 14 G-500 DZ last week. The truck passed its service but a thorough inspection revealed that although the truck could still run there are a few things that we can need to keep a close eye on as we roll into 2023.
Our staff always produce amazing detailed notes to tell of a truck’s problems and to give insight to any engineer or member of the team who is tasked with resolving the problems later down the line. Here are the notes for this truck:
- The 1st lift chain shows signs of wear and tear but remains serviceable at this time.
- The two side shift pipe at the base of the centre lift ram was found to be cracked slightly but remains. serviceable for the moment. We will monitor this closely over the coming weeks and months.
- Battery levels found to be low. We will keep an eye on this situation.
- All tyres show signs of wear and remain but remain serviceable.
- The lower seat pad shows signs of wear and tear but remains serviceable at this time.
If you’d like a truck servicing to full performance and monitored closely Hannaman Material Handling is all about the Service.
