"I have been with Dale farm based at the Ash Manor site in Wrexham for 3 months as the Logistics / Customer Service Manager. During my time I have experienced a lot of challenges with in the logistics side of the site, from damage caused by FLT drivers to company property and property of others. A lot of this is due to them being new to Forklifts and not having as much experience with others. Steve has worked closely with the site to look at what the drivers need for the day by day tasks using the FLT, from the environment they are working in with in the buildings to the environment outside and the impact the whether conditions may have for the drivers. This is my first time I have been in the position as a logistics manager as my previous experience is production.
Steve has worked closely with me to look at ways of improving safety on site. When we received the new fleet of Forklift trucks he kindly provided us with safety check books for each truck to get us started and to encourage the drivers to care about their safety and to help look after the equipment they have been provided. A lot of time and work as also gone in to the racking on site from working with the relevant people on site to ensure they provided us with what was required to adjustments in the driving racks for more room to assist the drivers with the day to day task to completing all the repairs to the current racking on site to ensure we have a safe environment to work in.
Steve is also providing us with his time and is carrying out some behavioural safety awareness training with all the FLT drivers on site to help get them more involved with improvements we are trying to make to the site.
I find Steve and the rest of the Hannaman team very helpful and easy to work with. They are quick responding and provide an excellent service and would highly recommend using them."

"Calbee initially approached Hannaman’s requiring racking, industrial floor care and forklifts, where we invited them to tender at our new production facility in Deeside, North Wales. During the project installation stages of our new production line being installed, Hannamans
supplied the short-term rental of a number of forklifts enabling us to install all the machinery within the production line and whilst some elements of the installation were quite complex, Hannamans always came up with the right solutions. Due to this service and the building of an excellent working relationship with Steve and his team, we awarded Hannamans the contract to supply our material handling equipment, all of which was delivered as specified and within the required delivery timescales. "We approached Hannaman’s in March 2015 when we were looking at introducing a new approach to our stores management system. Steve and his team at Hannamans were able to suggest a number of options one of which included a system of racking and storage shelving incorporating a “man up” turret forklift truck, a system that fully suited our operations and storage needs.
On placing the order Hannamans provided us with a temporary loan of an articulated forkliftwhich enabled us to relocate parts of our stock into the new racking allowing us space to move in other areas whilst refurbishment was going on in other parts of the warehouse. In order to
ensure that the installation was complete, Hannamans also arranged forklift training to ensure that our operators were fully competent to use the new systems, ensuring that we kept up to date with legal and Health and Safety requirements.
